The product controls outdoor lighting using sensors and a micro controller. There is no clock setting so Nature Switch will automatically adjust the on and off times according to the seasons without the need to reset.

The HID lamp dimming during non peak hours also saves energy.

“The need to switch to sustainable energy solutions is never more so an issue than for UAE as demand out strips supply on a regular basis. Lighting represents 22% of electricity usage in the Middle East and this is a much higher statistic than anywhere else in the world,” said Carol Prince, RWN Trading.

She added, high intensity lighting is usually used for street lighting, roadways paths and parking lots. The lighting is usually HID luminaries like HPSV lamps and the power rating of the luminaries is normally selected on the basis of the requirements for the area.

Nature Switch can drop illuminance levels during less peak hours and late at night when foot fall and traffic is minimal. This is where the savings are at their greatest.

It has a power contractor for load switching, MCB and terminal blocks. The enclosure also comes with mounting brackets, cable glands, door opener with lock and key.
