The newly constructed largest mall in Jordan, City Mall, has had hundreds of Norbain's security cameras installed to keep shoppers safe and reduce theft.

Installers, The Ideal Trading Group, were asked to provide a security solution that would enable the mall's control room to constantly monitor all entrances, exits, parking and views of the Mall's lobbies.

Haider Dajani of Ideal Trading Group, said: "Our initial brief was to provide security for the mall only, but then a number of shops saw the benefits and asked for us to provide solutions for them."

Over 75 Vista PowerDomes, 50 high resolution colour cameras and around 150 high resolution varifocal domes have been installed to meet the mall's requirements.

"We've been partnered with Norbain for a number of years and can say with all assurance that the service they have provided us with is excellent.

"The stock availability, fast delivery and repair and quick response times are invaluable and I wouldn't be able to provide my customers with the service I do without them," added Dajani.

Construction of the mall has cost around US $515m (AED 1.8bn) to date and security for the project was vital.
