Plus Properties targets waterfront projects

Newly-formed real estate company plans to invest around $230mn in waterfront developments.

Newly-formed real estate company, Plus Properties, plans to invest $230 million in waterfront developments.

The company is developing a project at Dubai Waterfront and is also targeting Abu Dhabi's Reem Island as well as projects in Lebanon, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

"As waterfront specialists, we will be among the first developers to start construction on the world-class Dubai Waterfront, which is the largest waterfront development in the world today," said Plus Properties CEO George Chehwane.

"The portfolio of projects will be spear-headed by a team of industry professionals who have the experience and the know-how to operate a turn key solution."

Plus Properties has teamed up with the Hong Kong-based architectural firm, James Law Cybertecture International, to work on the design of its initial projects.
