Emcor Group subsidiary Emcor Facilities Services has won four maintenance contracts in the USA public and private sectors.

Emcor Group subsidiary Emcor Facilities Services has won four maintenance contracts in the USA public and private sectors.

The contracts involve maintenance, upgrading, management and operation of mission-critical facilities across the country.

Among the projects is the contract to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

This will involve system improvements, the replacement of boilers and updating of air handling units at the US Air Force Wilford Hall Medical Centre.

An Emcor subsidiary is acting as general contractor on the project.

The company has also won a five-year contract to provide facilities management services to the World Bank in Washington.

Services here will encompass three major support categories: building services; building infrastructure; and facilities management helpdesk services to support the bank’s four major headquarter buildings.

In a further deal, the firm has won a three-year contract from the Bureau of State Office Buildings to remotely monitor the four-building complex that makes up the Boston Government Center.

In this instance Emcor Facilities Services will also provide mechanical and electrical operations and maintenance services for the complex.

The fourth contract that makes up the firm’s recent package of wins is a 38-month deal to provide general maintenance services to 280 Stop and Shop Supermarkets in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Under the contract terms, general maintenance services will be supported by the deployment of 35 mobile tecnicians that are located across Emcor’s local subsidiaries.

The goal is to develop a predicitve maintenance approach to the job.

Emcor Facilities Services specialises in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a wide range of business worldwide.

The company has not disclosed financial terms of the four latest facilities services contracts.
