Kids were captivated by a visit from DEWA’s utility mascots Splashy and Sparky at an environment-awareness visit to Modhesh World of the Dubai Summer Surprises.

The event was part of DEWA’s campaign on resource conservation, with a view towards educating the younger generation on what they can do to cut down on unnecessary consumption.

Audiences were entertained with live stage shows and interactive questions and answers highlighting the proper use of electricity and water and how people of all ages can help safeguard the environment by adopting simple energy-saving measures in their daily lives.

Soft toys were distributed and utility conservation tips were given to the crowds, advising them to take a shower instead of a bath, always use the washing machine with a full load and remember to turn-off standby buttons.
