The rapid rate of change in Abu Dhabi, combined with the high aspirations of the Emirates’ leadership, has guided the creation of what is billed as the world’s most ambitious transport initiative.
By the year 2030, the Surface Transport Master Plan calls for a multi-billion dirham integrated system of transport services, namely regional rail, metro rail, trams, buses, taxis, park-and-ride and highways.
