MEFMA sets eyes on Qatar market
Focus group to be launched in Qatar following rapid FM market growth
MEFMA is launching the first in a series of focus groups in Qatar.
While the body has been more active in Dubai because of the volume of FM companies present, it has seen much more demand recently from the Qatari market.
MEFMA membership and event director, Sinead Bridgett, said: “We held our first conference in 2010 and have since been very active there, however, this will be the first focus group in Qatar.
Bridgett said MEFMA had been working closely with one of its founding members in Qatar, Transfield Mannai who had played a big role in launching the first focus group which would be called ‘influencing the market – educating the client.’
She went on to say the growing FM market in the country, made it a big focus for MEFMA at present.
“It is one that is up and coming and very eager to learn and get involved. It’s a younger market and there is huge potential there.”
