Hyundai and Juma Al Majid ramp up training centre
Full range of training courses for engineers, fleet staff and inmates
Hyundai and dealer Juma Al Majid have revamped their training facility at the Juma Al Majid Ras Al Khor Workshop.
With aftersales service an increasingly important area for dealers and manufacturers the region is seeing a spurt of initiatives aimed at raising standards and improving customer retention.
The Hyundai Training Centre provides training and development of staff. The existing programmes have been augmented and expanded and it will now also provide a series of online courses via the Hyundai Cyber Academy that gives instruction to fleet and sales staff, and even prison inmates.
According to Eng Suleiman Al Said, department manager of training and technical support, focuses on “bringing out the creative capabilities of the technical staff members and its business partners, updating them about the best practices and latest technology used in the automotive industry.”
He added: "In line with Hyundai's aim to be the best in the (Customer Satisfaction) category, we enhance our staff knowledge and skills to carry their job in alignment with (Fix It Right the First Time) principle. A well balanced training plan that will cover all the training requirements for our staff is planned and then strictly followed to achieve the highest possible results”
Courses from the Hyundai Training Center include: New Model Training for Service Managers, Engineers and Supervisors, Multi Level Hyundai Service Advisors Program, Multi Level Hyundai Service Technicians Education Program, Product Knowledge Training for Sales Staff, Fleet Customer Staff (technical & non-technical courses relevant to their fleet vehicle requirements), and Jail In-mates Special/Basic Automotive Technology courses.
