Pinsent Masons wins construction law firm award
Company's work in Middle East highlighted by international award
International law firm Pinsent Masons has been named global construction law firm for 2011 in the Who’s Who Legal Awards.
This is the fourth year in a row the firm has been recognised, having now won the award every year since 2008. Once again, the firm’s work in the Middle East and sub continent has been reflected in the award.
Sachin Kerur, head of Pinsent Masons’ UAE office and its projects and construction group said: "This is a great accolade. What makes it particularly important is that it is based on nominations from clients across the industry.
"We are particularly proud that the work of our teams in the Gulf region is being recognised, and that our status as the pre-eminent trusted advisor to those in the regional infrastructure sector continues to be preserved."
Pinsent Masons is the leading firm in the awards list, fielding 12 lawyers. Michelle Nelson, head of Pinsent Masons’ Gulf disputes resolution group, earns praise for her work in the Gulf construction and engineering sectors. The Middle East work of Martin Harman was also highlighted.
The awards are based on a number of factors, including the feedback received in the ongoing research process, past performance in the research and the overall aggregate number of weighted votes cast in their favour.
Based on size, specialisms and project success, Pinsent Masons is the world’s largest construction and infrastructure law firm, with over 200 lawyers specialising in the construction sector, operating from offices in three continents.
