Al Mulla inks contract
Al Mulla Group is to undertake a full MEP package for the 7 Zones project in Kuwait.
Al Mazaya Holdings' has signed for US$6.94 million (1.995 million KD) to complete MEP works for the '7 Zones' project.
Al Mulla Group will supply, install and maintain electro-mechanical parts and equipments for the project.
"The project will see the installation of sanitary sewerage, fire fighting systems and air conditioning. A building management system, cctv and access control security will also be installed," said Abdullah Al Subaih, assistant project manager, Al Mazaya.
"The project will include integrated zones showcasing flooring supplies, electrical appliances, furniture, hardware, glasses, paints, constructional materials and warehouses. It will be truly a miscellaneous world for an integrated home," said Khalid Esbaitah, managing director and ceo, Al Mazaya.
"MEP installations have started. The development of the project is a package, the contractors work together," added Al Subaih, Al Mazaya.
Sadeem Al Kuwait has been awarded the phase one contract which includes the concrete structure. Al Sabria Company is signed up to implement elevators and stairs. Al Sour Engineering will coordinate with Bermello Ajamil and Partners to provide exterior and interior architectural details.
Located in the Shuwaikh industrial area, Kuwait, the 7 Zones project has a total area of 22,500 m2 and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2008.
Al Mulla Group and Al Mazaya have previously collaborated on the Dubai Sky Garden project.
