CW Leaders Summit: Firms must persist, says Hyder
Global turmoil, lack of direction means entrepreneurship is critical
Companies need to rely on their own entrepreneurial spirit in order to persevere through the current market turmoil, said Hyder Consulting MD Wael Allan at the CW Leaders in Construction summit.
"The picture is of slow recovery. We have a huge lack of global leadership. As companies, we have to rely on our own entrepreneurial in order to carry on," said Allan.
He added that the current volatility made for an unpredictable market. "No business model can attempt to give us answers. There are challenges, but we have probably hit the bottom."
Allan said the Middle East was facing "transformational change" that would have a "huge" impact on the business environment.
