Amana wins RAK contract
The contracting firm is set to build an aluminum, steel and glass facility in Ras Al Khaimah.
Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings has been awarded a contract by Al Rajhi Investments to construct a multipurpose industrial facility in Ras Al Khaimah for the manufacturing of aluminum, steel and glass.
The 50,000 square metres fast-track project will be built on 90,000 square metres of land, requiring over 1000 tons of steel.
The contract includes a factory, offices and worker accommodation for Cladtech International - part of Al Rajhi Investments.
Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of September and is expected to be ready by August 2008.
"Amana has successfully completed similarly complicated projects in the past and they stand testimony to our efficient and reliable services," said Mohammed Kaoud, general manager at Amana Contracting, Ras Al Khaimah.
"Hence it is imperative for us to meet the highest standards of safety and quality required to meet the end users' operational and technical requirements."
