Hill International has received a contract from the Misr Hotels Company to provide project and construction management services in connection with the renovation and redevelopment of the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.

The hotel, formerly operated as the Nile Hilton Hotel, has been operating since 1959, and is a landmark of the Cairo skyline. The 13-story hotel, which is 64,000m2, is being renovated to modernise the facility and to meet the modified design and specifications of the Ritz Carlton brand.

“This is a landmark hotel, and it is a privilege to be part of the re-branding of this historic property”, said Raouf S. Ghali, president of Hill’s Project Management Group (International).

Hill International, with 3,100 employees in 100 offices worldwide, provides programme management, project management, construction management and construction claims and consulting services.

Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 8th largest construction management firm in the US.
