Eversendai wins $61.1m projects in the Middle East

Contracts are for projects in Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Malaysia

Eversendai Corp Bhd, a structural steel contractor, has won $61.1m worth of contracts for projects in the Middle East and Malaysia.

Its contracts in the Middle East include the National Museum of Qatar, the Qatar Foundation Headquarters and Strategic Studies Centre, the ADNOC headquarters in Dubai and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.

Its Malaysian contracts are worth $10.5m and are for the Manjung Coal Fired Power Plant and Manjung 4 Project Ducts.

Eversendai group managing director Datuk A.K. Nathan said the recently-secured contracts gave the group a firmer position in terms of growth visibility.

He said the group had also started to tap into India.
