Master developer Nakheel has issued a tender for security services at its Palm Jumeirah and International City communities.

The tender is for “repair and maintenance of security systems,” ranging from gate barriers to CCTV, access control and the control room.

Nakheel acting CEO Sanjay Manchanda recently told journalists recently that the master developer was “trying to improve the security” at its developments.

The master developer has been embroiled in an ongoing disputes with residents at Shoreline Residences on Palm Jumeirah with regard to outstanding service charges.

Tender bids have to be submitted by 19 March.
