Tenders for building the new Al Ain hospital have been reviewed, according to SEHA, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company.

The announcement was made at a meeting attended by an expert committee of engineers and consultants, and included representatives from the bidding contractors.

The hospital will be built on a 358,000m2 area as part of SEHA's infrastructure development strategy. The 688-bed hospital, of which 150 are for rehabilitation, will be based on a modern design and use the latest equipment.

The new Al Ain Hospital premises will include sections for women's health, postnatal care, children's health, emergency, ICU and internal medicine, as well as an underground parking facility.
