Chubb Fire Qatar secures Pearl Qatar contract
Company to provide fire prevention measures for Viva Bahriya tower
International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC)-Chubb Fire Qatar has signed a contract with United Construction to install fire detection and firefighting materials at the Viva Bahriya development on The Pearl-Qatar.
The company will install fire prevention, detection and firefighting equipment in tower nine of the 29 condominium towers. This will include a sprinkler system for the entire building, new fire pumps to meet system flow and maintain water pressure, and relevant signage for emergency information.
The installation will be carried out to the standard required to gain a certification of installation from the NFPA.
IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar's General Manager, Rami Batrawi, commented, "The Pearl-Qatar is a landmark project in the progress of this country and, within that, the Viva Bahriya development is equally relevant and prestigious.
