Projects at eight Saudi universities get official funding green-light

Saudi’s Higher Education Minister Khaled Al-Anqari has approved several contracts totalling $295m to build housing for teaching staff at several universities in the kingdom.

Al-Anqari said the new contracts were signed as part of the ministry's efforts to complete infrastructure facilities at universities. “Staff housing projects are implemented following highest standards,” he said.

Projects include staff accommodation at Al-Qura University, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Taibah University, Jazan University, Baha University, King Abdulaziz University and Najran University.
