Imdaad is launching pairs of bins as part of its commitment to the My City, My Environment campaign launched by Dubai Municipality.

Each villa in the Mazhar 1 area of Dubai will receive a 240l black general waste bin and a 240l green mixed recyclables bin. Community recycling bins will be strategically placed across the area.

The company has said it will carry out general waste collections on a daily basis and recyclables collection three times a week. It will also offer door-to-door campaigns and encourage residents to share ideas and suggestions through surveys to improve service.

Mahmood Rasheed, COO, Imdaad, said: "Environmental protection and conservation initiatives must gain strong support from within the grassroots level to be able to achieve optimum results. Dubai Municipality is therefore moving in the right direction with the My City, My Environment project as it encourages homeowners to recycle and segregate their wastes.

"Imdaad extends full support to the initiative as it complements our continuing thrust to promote environmental stewardship through our wide range of sustainable facilities management solutions."

The My City My Environment campaign has been introduced by Dubai Municipality to help achieve its 2030 goals.
