XCMG increases output with opening of 4 factories
Third-largest Chinese kit manufacturer XCMG has opened 4 new factories
XCMG, the third largest equipment manufacturer in China, has increased its output after opening four factories in the eastern coastal province of Jiangsu, China.
With XCMG reporting an $188 million (RMB 1.2 billion) build-cost for the facilities, the company says that the combined product output is 5000 medium and large-tonnage cranes, 40000 medium and large-tonnage loaders and 20000 complete sets of concrete machinery.
The output will have a combined value of nearly $6.3 billion says the company.
Construction of the four manufacturing based began in 2011, and was completed across 12-14 months, "setting a new benchmark for technological transformation and upgrading in the industry."
