Austrian MEP company Ecotherm will be showcasing its latest sustainable product, the hybrid hot water system, at the Big 5 exhibition.

The system enables the use of various heating mechanisms encased in one unit.

The company can combine its latest product with solar panels, so that the high capacity water heaters can be run using sustainable energy.

Ecotherm produces hot water and steam systems in stainless steel quality AISI316Ti for hotels, hospitals, apartments, houses and industrial applications.

The turnkey systems have already been used in projects in the UAE and the wider Middle East, including a solar powered system for apartment blocks on the Palm Jumeirah, with 80% solar gain, and a hygienic hot water system for the Grosvenor House hotel in Dubai.

All systems are available in the requested energy source, such as solar, oil, gas, steam or electricity and feature high-quality long-life equipment with minimal space requirement producing freshly-made, hygienic hot water.

Heat pump systems offer a myriad of benefits, including saving up to 70% on standard heating costs. Other benefits of the system are that they are friendly to the environment, are fully automatic maintenance-free and are independent and non-flammable.

According to Ecotherm, heat pump technology - which is based on the thermodynamic Carnot cycle - offers the most efficient way to heat our homes and buildings without burning oil, coal or gas.

This has now been made possible because of improvements in technology and the components available, which allow the theoretical efficiencies to be optimised. The engineering required to achieve the optimised system is of key importance.

The range of services the company offers includes computation, development, design and 3D graphic modelling, a heat exchanger testing centre for performance analyses, design software, thermal computations and material strength calculation.

The company also has an in-house modern manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art production planning systems.

Ecotherm has been involved in the planning, design, manufacture and commissioning of thousands of installations in Europe, the Middle East and central America. Stand number: 3B111.
