Devices which regulate temperatures are some of the most important appliances in the soaring heat of the Middle East.
Italian firm Esseci is hoping to gain a share of this lucrative market by exhibiting at the Big 5 for the first time.
The company specialises in manufacturing appliances which regulate the temperatures of refridgeration units, heaters and air conditioners.
Silva Spinace, sales manager, Esseci admitted it would be a difficult task to break into the GCC marketplace, but one the company was confident it could do.
She said: "I think Italian products give more care to both technical and aesthetic quality than many of the competitors.
"You can get involved in a war of prices, but I think gaining the trust of customers by producing excellent products is more important.
"Dubai and the Middle East is a completely new area for us, but we are confident we can make a lot of new contacts at the Big 5."
Esseci was founded in Italy in 1995 and produces a wide range of products for the commercial and industrial heating and regulation markets.
In 2004, it moved to a new 2,000m2 headquarters, which gives it the capacity to produce 20,000 components per hour.
