Landscape firm Acla is working on a trio of masterplan projects in Qatar.

The firm is producing a 500-hectare masterplan for Al Khor beach development as well as working on Phase II of the Messaieed housing development, Dubai-based Acla project manager Mona Rizk told Commercial Outdoor Design.

The Messaieed project is particularly interesting as it requires conserving and extending an existing forest in the region, she said.

Details of the third project in Qatar were not disclosed.

In addition to Qatar, HyderAcla is also working on projects in Ajman and Georgia.

Hong Kong firm Acla is the recently acquired subsidiary of the Hyder Consulting Group.
