Hill International wins $4.4m contract in Romania
Hill to supervise 12 separate associated design-and-build contracts
Hill International has won a three and-a-half year, $4.4m contract from S.C. Aquacaras S.A. to provide design management and construction supervision services in connection with the modernisation of water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Caras Severin County, Romania.
The $117.5m project entails the modernisation of more than 122km of water infrastructure and more than 185km of wastewater infrastructure.
Hill's role is to supervise 12 separate design-and-build contracts associated with the modernisation programme.
"This water and wastewater infrastructure modernisation programme will greatly improve the quality of life for residents in Caras Severin County," said Raouf S. Ghali, president of Hill's Project Management Group (International). "Hill is proud to be managing this initiative."
