Saudi Steel Pipes wins $30m contract
Firm renews deal with Saudi Aramco despite international competition
Saudi Steel Pipes has announced that it has won a contract to provide welded steel pipes worth $30.3m (SR: 114m).
The contract is for petrochemicals giant Saudi Aramco, and the pupes will be used for lining wells.
The company said the deal was a continuation of a contract initially won in August this year, and that it had won the deal in the face of competition from a number of international firms.
The pipes will be produced at its factory in Damman, and the firm said that the financial benefit of the deal will appear in its third quarter results next year.
