Jafza targets construction
BIG 5: Big 5 provides platform for UAE's leading free trade zone to address companies serving the construction sector.
The Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) is looking to promote its services and facilities to private companies and individual investors at Big 5 this week. The company plans face-to-face meetings with key buyers and decision-makers from the public and private sectors, as well as architects, engineers, contractors, importers and construction materials distributors.
According to Jafza, it offers the ideal industrial, warehousing and distribution base in the Middle East and provides unique opportunities for businesses with unmatched links to the entire Middle East region.
"There has been a steady surge within the public as well as the private construction sector, and Jafza's participation aims at reinforcing its position as the international business hub of the Middle East, especially in light of its success in housing and serving a large number of companies within the construction industry," said Ibrahim Al Janahi, senior VP, commercial sales, Jafza.
"The Big 5 provides us with the ideal platform from which to tap into the potential of the booming construction sector, and meet the people who are shaping the industry."
Al Janahi added that the Big 5 show's success is attributed to the combination of five key sectors under one umbrella, stressing the fact that Jafza offers facilities in all sectors of the construction industry, including the product sector, AC and refrigeration, water technology and the environment, marble, stone and ceramics.
"With the large number of developments in the UAE, Jafza offers attractive opportunities for all companies serving the industry, starting with reliable infrastructure, the strategic location in the proximity of Jebel Ali ports and airports, and customer-centric regulations that enhance and support free trade," said Al Janahi.
