The Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee has met with a group of Swedish companies led by the country's Energy Agency, reports Zawya.

Ahmad Nimeh, director of international relations, headed a delegation of Qatar 2022 representatives. Erik Brandsma, director general of the Swedish Energy Agency, led a group of two-dozen representatives from Sweden's clean-tech industry.

The companies were briefed on the committee's sustainability plans. It has been undertaking meetings with global leaders in renewable and sustainable energies as it works to deliver a carbon-neutral 2022 FIFA World Cup.
