Royal Commission inks $5m Saudi roads deal

Local firm wins roads and utilities work in Yanbu Industrial City

A $4.8m contract to build new roads and utilities within the developing Yanbu Industrial City has been signed in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the contract went to an unnamed local company and was signed by the director-general of Operation and Maintenance at the Royal Commission in Yanbu.

The contract is one of the latest of several infrastructure deals signed by the commission.

Last month, it agreed three deals with contractors worth $32.8m to deliver roads, schools and engineering services in Jubail Industrial City.
