Emaar issues tender for Dubai twin tower project
Sales for The Address Residence Sky View took place on March 3
Emaar Properties has issued a tender for the construction of The Address Residence Sky View - the new 230m-high, twin-towered project in Downtown Dubai linked by a sky bridge.
The project, which was announced last week, has been designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill - the architectural practice which was responsible for delivering the nearby Burj Khalifa - the world's tallest building - for Emaar.
It is set to contain 532 serviced apartments and a 180-bed business hotel. The sky bridge podium level near the top of the building will house a signature restaurant, an infinity pool and an amenity deck offering 360-degree views over the city.
Sales of serviced apartments at the project were set to get underway on Saturday (March 2). Potential buyers needed to pre-register with Emaar, and on Thursday the firm announced that its online registration process closed in less than an hour after it received visitors from more than 75 countries.
Emaar Properties' managing director Ahmad Al Matrooshi said: “The phenomenal customer interest in The Address Residence Sky View is another strong testament to their growing confidence in Emaar’s development credentials and Dubai’s property sector."
