SAOG bags $2.5m EPC power station contract in Oman
Oman National Engineering & Investment Co will work on Madha Station
Oman National Engineering & Investment Company (SAOG) has been awarded a $2.5m engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Rural Areas Electricity Company SAOC for the upgrading of Madha Station in Musandam Governorate.
Oman National Engineering & Investment Company was formed in 1978 to manage the rural electricity system for the Ministry of Electricity & Water. It now employs more than 3000 people.
During last 32 years, the company has made forays into power, water and utility sectors in Oman.
Its chairman is Aimen Ahmed Sultan Al Hosni.
