Saudi's Al Khodari eyes bids for Bahrain projects
Firm announces JVs with Six Construct & GP Zachariades (Overseas) Ltd
Saudi contracting firm Abdullah AM Al Khodari Sons Company is seeking to win new business in Bahrain by setting up joint ventures to bid for major construction work.
The company said on Saturday that it has signed memorandums of understanding with two partners to bid for work across the highways and education sectors.
In a statement to the Saudi bourse, Al Khodari said it has inked agreements with Six Construct Co Limited for the prequalification and the submittal jointly for the construction of phase one of the Muharraq Ring Road in Bahrain.
With Six Construct, Al Khodari will also bid for the construction of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway- Interchange 2 and the construction of roads at Madinat Hamad in Bahrain.
Al Khodari also announced the signing of a pre-bid joint venture agreement with GP Zachariades (Overseas) Limited for the prequalification and the submittal jointly for the construction of schools in Bahrain.
