MAF Dalkia celebrates 10 years of growth and regional expansion, since its establishment as a joint venture in 2002 between Majid Al Futtaim Group and Dalkia Group.
Today, MAF Dalkia has over 1,600 employees, offices in the UAE (headquarters), Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and more than 150 operational mobile teams.
Ahmed Galal Ismail, chairman of MAF Dalkia and CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Ventures said: "MAF Dalkia was the first joint venture of its kind for Majid Al Futtaim Ventures, and with the business having completed its tenth successful year of operations this is a significant milestone.
"With the increased focus on energy and environmental sustainability in this region, MAF Dalkia will continue to diversify and innovate in these key areas, with the aim to reduce the region’s environmental footprint and cultivate a mind-set of energy savings for business in the GCC."
Initially managing Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ portfolio of shopping malls across the region, today MAF Dalkia has over 150,000 assets registered in its asset management system, handles more than 200,000 calls per year through its help desk and manages more than 5,000 sites in the Middle East across sectors including commercial, education, telecommunications, finance, aviation and healthcare.

MAF Dalkia also manages a mix of commercial, and banking sector assets in Saudi Arabia, and recently signed contracts with the Saudi Public Authorities.
In 2012, MAF Dalkia further diversified its offer with the introduction of new specialised technical services, supporting the company’s wider goals of becoming the region’s socially responsible service provider of choice. Part of these services include infrared thermography and vibration analysis, two techniques which identify and anticipate building defects, resulting in long term energy and costs saving.
The company was the first energy & FM firm to receive 'best in class' industry certifications: ISO 14001 for Environmental Management and ISO 50001 for Energy Management – a new standard established only mid-2011. The firm also has a proven reduction of over 45,000 tons of CO2 in the past two years.
