UAE's MPW outlines projects at CW Infra conference

The UAE's Ministry of Public Works will spell out its programme of activities for 2013 and beyond as part of a series of presentations at Construction Week's UAE Infrastructure 2013 conference tomorrow.
The event, which is free to attend, will also feature a panel discussion on the country's social housing needs, a presentation on the recently-opened Khalifa Port, a debate on the importance of transport infrastructure and talks on both the commissioning of infrastructure and attractinng investment for infrastructure projects.
The keynote address will be delivered by the director of the Ministry of Public Works' Urban Planning department, Tahani Yousuf.
Other speakers taking part include Aldar's head of infrastructure George Kenich, Sorouh chief operating officer Gurjit Singh, Grenea founder & CEO Khaled Awad and KIZAD's head of project development Charles Acworth.
