Bahraini hospital deploys asset management tech
Infor's EAM technology installed in King Hamad University hospital
Infor has deployed its Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution to King Hamad University Hospital in Bahrain, which allows the hospital's team to proactively manage assets, asset information, and monitor and control maintenance activities.
The contract to deliver the technically advanced EAM and facilities management system was signed and implemented by Infor's strategic partner for the Middle East, Azimuth.
With Infor EAM, the King Hamad University Hospital biomedical and FM teams can take action to optimise asset performance and make better long‐term business decisions.
Facility managers will also be able to extract asset history information to develop projections on equipment up-time and maintenance costs. This information can be used for strategic business planning and for taking corrective action.
The KHUH management will also be able to compare costs and performance across multiple site areas and identify specific assets within single sites that are impairing performance.
In addition to this, the software also gives executives "at a glance" information on asset and engineering performance - whether equipment is repaired in‐house or outsourced.
The Infor EAM system uses 'Cognos' which is said to be an advanced business intelligence tool.
