Energy Management Services (EMS) has signed a partnership with Escan Real Estate Company to ensure its new projects are sustainable.

Energy Management Services (EMS) has signed a partnership with Escan Real Estate Company to ensure its new projects are sustainable.

The agreement will assist Escan in attaining Leadership in the Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for US $1.4 billion (AED5 billion) worth of developments.

Three new projects are to benefit from EMS's expertise in the field of environmentally-friendly design and construction.

The first project is Al Fanar Towers in Fujairah.

The $163 million mixed-use project will include a two-storey shopping mall as well as commercial, residential and hotel uses.

EMS will also advise on the construction of the Golden Beach Hotel in Fujairah.

The project is being developed in a remote spot, so extra care will be needed to make sure the project does not harm delicate eco-systems.

The last development is the Renaissance Tower, in the Business Bay area of Dubai.

The 35-storey landmark tower will include offices and business forums, and hotel and residential suites.

EMS will use its patented Energy Efficient Architecture analysis in all the buildings.
