Aldes Middle East is to open an office in Qatar as it aims to hit 8% annual growth in 2013, a statement from the company has revealed.

The HVAC and fire protection firm is currently expanding its operations in the GCC, and expects the Doha move to consolidate its established network of partner distributors, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman.

According to Aldes ME senior officials, the company’s confidence in building on last year’s 7% annual growth is reinforced by its ability to quickly react to major trends in the market and by expanding to new areas of growth within the region.

Gaëtan Pierrefeu, managing director of Aldes Middle East FZE, said: “We are looking at an exciting year ahead of us, strengthened by our move to reach out into newer markets, launch new products and participate in some of the GCC region’s major development projects. We are extremely positive of reeling in an 8% year-on-year growth for this year, which we are sure to achieve by capitalising on our three main activities – fire protection, air distribution and ventilation.”

As part of its expansion initiatives, the company is also working closely with its partner MIMAR in a move to reinforce its current sales force in Saudi Arabia. The company will also soon be launching a new VAV design for better air regulation and energy savings.

Last year, Aldes ME introduced the twisted diffuser, which it claims offers high technical performance and a unique aesthetical design.
