Contract win for Officeland
Executive furniture and an ergonomic education secures AED 1 million deal.
Officeland has been awarded an AED 1 million furniture contract, to fit out the new executive management offices of Dhafir Group, in Abu Dhabi.
The contract win was exclusively revealed to facilities management Middle East this week, during an interview with sales manager, Mohammed Abdul Muktadeer.
"It was a tendered job and there were about two or three companies bidding for the work. I think we won the contract because of the Mariani brand as the products are unique and there's no competition. There are so many aspects to winning a tender, the design, concept, price and delivery and Dhafir liked all four," said Muktadeer.
Around 600m2 will be furnished, including executive management offices, back office areas, boardrooms and waiting areas. Furniture will come from Mariani, Sitia and fff.
Muktadeer said Officeland was able to educate Dhafir on the benefits of ergonomics and as a result, all staff located within the management offices will be given ergonomic hairs.
"The company was reluctant to spend money in the back of office areas, but we wanted them to understand how important ergonomic chairs are. The CEO understood this and made the decision to go ergonomic," added Muktadeer.
Officeland is a division of Al Aqili Furnishings. See the full interview with Muktadeer in the February issue of facilities management Middle East.
