For the second consecutive year, Aedas has been ranked fourth among the top architects in the world according to Building Design's 2008 World Architecture Survey.

Employing 1,900 people throughout the United Kingdom, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and North and South America, Aedas ranked behind Gensler, HOK and Nikken Sekkei.

"The fact that we have maintained our position alongside some of the leading practices in the world is a testament to the fact that the entire building design industry is thriving - and that's fantastic," said Peter Oborn, joint managing director of Aedas.

London-based Foster+ Partners rounded out the top five in the 2008 survey. Aedas is the highest ranking British firm, with a fee income of over US$ 200 million.
