Imdaad offers Emirati job seekers careers in FM
Imdaad also planning to capitalize on the new 'Absher' jobs program
Imdaad has unveiled key job openings specifically suited for UAE nationals during its ‘Open Day’ held recently at the Jebel Ali DP World Wheel House in Dubai.
The company, which already has Emiratis in 63% of its top management executive positions, used the ‘Open Day’ as a platform to address the limited awareness among UAE nationals on the concept of facilities management and the career opportunities the field offers.
“Imdaad prioritizes the development of its Emirati personnel and all UAE nationals in general in line with nationwide efforts to fortify the domestic workforce,” said Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO, Lootah.
“We consider it an important responsibility to recruit and develop more Emiratis who will eventually become distinguished FM professionals and leaders and hence productive members of society,” Lootah said.
“A number of nationals expressed keen interest in joining our team and building a solid career as facilities management professionals during our ‘Open Day,’” he added. “New graduates were particularly enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of our industry and national development in general.”
With H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi, directing the launch of ‘Absher,’ a program aimed at boosting the participation of Emiratis in the local labor market, Imdaad is planning to further capitalize on the employment momentum started by the initiative to roll out activities and initiatives to attract more UAE nationals to careers in facilities management.
The ‘Absher’ initiative aims to create over 20,000 job opportunities for Emirati graduates over the next five years.
