Emrill has partnered with 36 Strategies to bring to its customers a revolutionary new cloud-based platform to manage their entire procurement to pay and supply chain management process. 36 Strategies’ cutting edge P2P portal increases efficiencies and reduces administration time throughout the supply chain, allowing Emrill to deliver enhanced services to their customers across the country.

For their work with Emrill, 36 Strategies first mapped the company’s business processes and analysed procurement data, including purchase order history, frequency and quantities. The rigorous process included in-depth interviews with all departments and business functions involved in the procurement and supply chain process.
36 Strategies also conducted workshops and sessions to understand Emrill’s strategic objectives, savings targets and corporate governance policies. A team of specialists then created a tailored end-to-end procurement-to-pay solution with optimised processes to enhance internal procurement procedures, remove existing inefficiencies, reduce wastage and delivery lead times as well.
One of the noteworthy features of this solution is that it creates an online store specific to a contract containing pre-defined, contract-specific products and pre-selected parts approved by the customer, which can be ordered online by site storekeepers with the click of a button. Delegated authorities can approve these orders within minutes anywhere in the world, to be delivered by 36 Strategies within three working days.
The order is communicated in real-time through the online platform which sends an email notification to all relevant business functions/persons for approvals. Notifications are received instantly and approvals can take as little as three minutes to complete. This is a completely paperless order and approval process; it is automated and can be seamlessly used through a mobile device.
Once the approvals are logged in the system, order details are transmitted to the 36 Strategies warehouse and supply chain team who dispatch and deliver Emrill’s orders to contract locations around the country.
36 Strategies’ solution has enabled Emrill to achieve greater contract compliance, quicker resolution of service interruption, and increased customer satisfaction, while reducing wastage and delivery lead times.
