LiuGong Machinery conducts management reshuffle

Chairman Wang Xiaohua steps down after 43 years of service

LiuGong Machinery has conducted a complete management reshuffle.
LiuGong Machinery has conducted a complete management reshuffle.

Chinese construction equipment manufacturer LiuGong Machinery is now under new management.

The reshuffle comes in the wake of former chairman Wang Xiaohua’s decision to retire from his post after 43 years with the company.

The company has stated that Xiaohua, who spent 15 years in the role of chairman, has contributed significantly to the development of LiuGong Machinery and its ongoing globalisation. He is to retain his position as chairman of Guangxi LiuGong Group, the parent company of LiuGong Machinery.

Former vice president Zeng Guang’an has taken over from Xiaohua as chairman of LiuGong Machinery. Yu Chuanfen has been promoted to the position of vice chairman and will continue to fulfil his duties as president of LiuGong Group.

“I look forward to continuing to support the new management team as always,” commented outgoing chairman Xiaohua. “I am pleased that, building on the achievements we’ve created over the past 55 years, the company is poised for an even greater future.”

LiuGong Machinery has also named a selection of other staff members who are to become the manufacturer’s new senior management team with immediate effect. It is hoped the new generation of managers will help to grow LiuGong into a more agile, global company.
