Dubai golf community project reaches completion

The developers of Victory Heights, a golf residential community surrounding the Els Club Golf Course in Dubai Sports City, have announced the project’s completion.

A joint venture between Arcapita Bank and Dubai Sports City, Victory Heights comprises 961 villas and townhouses along with the Ernie Els 18-hole championship golf course, Els Club House, Butch Harmon School of Golf, community centres, and a mosque.

The residential properties range in size from 235m² to 620m² featuring a mix of European classical, Spanish Andalusian, and Mediterranean architectural styles.

A special ceremony was held to celebrate the project’s completion attended by Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), Essa Saeed Al Mansoori, manager- Trust Account Section, RERA, and a number of other senior officials.

“I’m proud to witness this superb development and can see the hard-work of the developers that is reflected in the great neighborhood which adds tremendous value to Dubai's living communities,” Eng. Ghalita said.

Yasser Abdulrahman Al Raee, general manager of Victory Heights, added: “We are very pleased to have completed this landmark development during a period saddled by global financial crisis and volatility in the Dubai real estate market. We would like to use this fantastic occasion, which coincides with Dubai's successful bid to host EXPO 2020, to thank all governmental agencies in the Emirate and in particular, Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Dubai Municipality, Road Transport Authority for their wonderful support throughout the development stages to create this prime residential golf community in Dubai.
