Nespak awarded Saudi construction supervision deal

Company to oversee 41.7km water supply project

The Ministry of Water and Electricity in Saudi Arabia has awarded Nespak a contract for construction supervision of a water supply project.

The 41.7km project, from Khulais and Rabigh dams to Jeddah, is expected to last 36 months

Meanwhile, Nespak has completed the Targis dam, located in the Aseer region, and handed it over to the Ministry of Water and Electricity.

This is one of the 14 dams which Nespak has been providing construction supervision services in the south of the Kingdom. The project cost is around $10.1m (38m riyals) and its storage capacity of five million m³ of water. The water will be supplied for drinking and irrigation.

Nespak has also been providing construction supervision services for Aridah dam, which is currently in progress. The project is located in the Al-Baha region of the Kingdom and is one of the largest dams in KSA.
