SAOG bags LPG project in Saudi Arabia
Oman National Engineering & Investment Co. to complete work this year
Oman National Engineering & Investment Company (SAOG) has been awarded a $968,000 contract to work on an LPG project in Saudi Arabia.
SAOG was awarded the deal from Qaryan Steel Company, which is making its first foray into the steel business in the Kingdom.
The scope of works is for the design, supply, fabrication, installation and commissioning of an LPG system. Work on the project is expected to commence soon and it is expected to be commissioned in 2014. The Company expects reasonable income from this project.
Work is expected to start soon and be commissioned in 2014.
SAOG was formed in 1978 to manage the rural electricity system for the Ministry of Electricity & Water. It now employs more than 3,000 people.
