Danube has opened two new showrooms in Saudi Arabia.

The major construction and home interior company has revealed new premises at Exit 5 (King Abdul Aziz Road) in Riyadh and the other on Shihat Road (Khudriya) in Dammam.

The Riyadh showroom’s area is 3,000m2 and will mainly stock rebar, plywood, ceramic tiles and sanitary fittings.

In addition to these products, the showroom in Khudriya in Dammam spread across 4,500m2 will also stock timber and MDF with more focus on sanitary and ceramic tiles.

“The construction sector in Saudi Arabia and in other countries of the region is witnessing a rapid development, implying that the region has a huge potential for big investment. In general, most of the countries in the GCC and the MENA region are growing, indicating healthy business outcomes,” said Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group while making the announcement.

The new demand drivers in the Kingdom include the improvement of transportation systems and infrastructure projects that have created investment opportunities and will increase the connectivity and attractiveness of the market.

Though Saudi contractors are among the largest in the region, given the size and range of projects planned in the next few years, there still remains a significant opportunity for international contractors to enter the market.

“The recent move is a reflection of the monumental success story of Danube,” Sajan added.

“The company has grown organically since its establishment and the opening of new showrooms is a part of our business strategy that underlines the success of Danube as a brand, while reaffirming our commitment to get closer to the customers and cater to their evolving demands,” said Sajan.

Danube has grown from a small trading firm to one of the largest building materials company in the region.

Today, the company has its presence across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kenya, Libya, India and China.
