Limitless appoints new CEO
Nakheel development director Mohammed Rashed Bin Dhabeah brought in
Dubai-based developer Limitless has appointed Mohammed Rashed Bin Dhabeah as the company’s new CEO, replacing current CEO Saeed Ahmed Saeed.
Mr Rashed will continue to develop existing Limitless projects in communities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Vietnam while retaining his current role at sister firm Nakheel, where he is managing director of its development arm.
He joined Nakheel in 2003 and has worked in projects including design, engineering and construction taking charge of developments like Jumeirah Islands and Jumeirah Village. In 2010, he took charge of delivering its construction projects.
Meanwhile, Nakheel has also made changes to a number of its key posts, with Masood Al Zarooni being appointed as managing director for Projects Construction, Mohamed Al Qassem becoming managing director of the Nakheel Asset Management and Infrastructure division and Hamdan Al Falasi managing director of Marine Works and Logistics.
Ali Rashid Lootah, who chairs both Nakheel and Limitless, said: "These new appointments reflect the need for a greater focus on specific development activities at Nakheel in order to meet our business needs, and open up more opportunities for young UAE nationals to take increasing responsibility with our leadership team."
