Tenders for US $95mn Atrium Towers this week

Al Abbas Group-owned Earth Developers, is expected to invite bids for its US $95 million (AED350 million) Atrium Gold Towers project, which is located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, this week.

Al Abbas Group-owned Earth Developers, is expected to invite bids for its US $95 million (AED350 million) Atrium Gold Towers project, which is located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, this week.

The development will be constructed over a total land area of about 8,153m2.

Construction on the project is expected to start by July and is estimated to be completed by the end of 2009.

A spokesperson for the company said: "No contracts have been awarded as yet and tenders are most likely to go out by the end of March."

The project is the second launched by Earth Developers, with the first being The Lynx.

Atrium Gold Towers will be a mixed-use tower comprising three 14-storey towers, including the Atrium Gold Residency Tower, Atrium Gold Business Tower and the Atrium Gold Executive.

The project will be surrounded by facilities including schools, hospitals, playgrounds, hotels, a community centre, a health club and spa, a swimming pool and ample parking space. In addition there will be a shopping arcade spanning two floors of the building.

Dubai Silicon Oasis is a mixed-use development located on 7.2km2 of land in Dubai.

Established in 1967, the Al Abbas Group is made up of 24 companies with operations in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iran, Qatar, Oman and the UAE.

The company ventured into the real estate industry in 2006 through Earth Developers.
