Drake and Scull wins $45.2mn European contracts

German subsidiary to take on wastewater treatment plant projects

The German subsidiary of Dubai-based contractor Drake and Scull has won contracts relating to three water and wastewater treatment plant projects in Europe with a combined value of 166mn dirhams ($45.2mn).

In a bourse statement on Monday, the company revealed that its subsidiary, Passavant-Roediger GmbH, will upgrade facilities in Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina and build a plant in Turkey.

The announcement comes just a week after the company won a contract worth 328mn riyals ($87.46mn) to carry out mechanical, electrical and plumbing works at King Saud University in Riyadh.
