Inaya awarded ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007
Inaya has just completed three years of business in the region
Inaya Facilities Management Services, a member of the Belhasa Group, has been awarded the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications in environmental management standards.
The ISO 14001 accreditation reinforces Inaya’s commitment to sound environmental practices, integrating environmental aspects into its management system and enabling the company to monitor and control the environmental impact of its day-to-day operations. With OHSAS 18001, Inaya makes a similar pledge to the health and safety of its staff and communities within its stewardship.
"Inaya was founded on the simple principle of 'care', as this is the Arabic meaning of our name,” said Nishant Ravindran, general manager, Inaya. “At Inaya, we care for the buildings entrusted to us, we care for the communities that work and reside within these built environments and we care for the environment as a whole.”
“In obtaining accreditation in ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, we further demonstrate our commitment to this founding principle,” Ravindran said.
Dr. Ahmed Saif Belhasa, chairman of the Belhasa Group of Companies, said: "We are very proud of these ISO and OHSAS certifications. Inaya has believed since its inception that care for the environment and its staff, clients and the public who traverse the properties entrusted to them is paramount. These accreditations demonstrate impressive teamwork and a commitment to the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental working practices."
Inaya’s announcement of these new accreditations comes close on the heels of the company launching a new brand logo celebrating its three years of business in the region, which it revealed at the recently held MEFMA Confex 2014.
