UAE landscape practice Green Concepts is expanding its operations in the Middle East with the opening of a third office in the region, Commercial Outdoor Design can reveal.

The firm, which already has offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is in the process of opening an office in Doha, Qatar, Green Concepts principal Geoff Sanderson told COD.

"We are working through the region. We have an office in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and this week we are opening an office in Doha," he said.

The firm is also looking to open what will be its fourth office in the region, an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the next 12 months, Sanderson added.

Approximately 30 additional staff will be taken on over the year, including around 15 more landscape architects, to help with staffing the new offices, he said.

Founded in 2005, Green Concepts has 45 staff at present, including 27 landscape architects.
